This client approached us with a desire to redesign their lower level and incorporate extensive wine storage—LOTS of wine storage! As the daughter of a nationally recognized winemaker, she inherited a large and prized wine collection. Our goal was to organize and showcase the bottles beautifully, creating a functional storage solution that honored the legacy of her father's collection.
BEFORE
THE REDESIGN
We preserved the original sofa seating and layout to maintain the room’s comfortable flow. To enhance the space, we introduced a new wall that serves as both a snack bar and a stylish storage area for their liquor collection, while also offering a glimpse of the wine room. Our goal was to keep the space open and airy by sticking with the existing Aegean Teal paint color, while incorporating grounding elements for added warmth and balance.
